This mixed-use development in the heart of Austin’s “SoCo” district is comprised of three distinct buildings separated by integrated courtyard spaces. Each of the reinforced concrete buildings will have four levels of retail and office space on post-tensioned beam-and-joist floor systems. Additionally, two of the buildings will include four levels of underground parking on reinforced flat slabs.
A key design consideration has been the efficiency and sustainability of the development. The buildings will feature integrated environmentally-conscious elements such as rainwater collection systems. This attention to detail will serve the development well in its role in revitalizing this popular area near downtown Austin.
This project is currently in design; construction is anticipated to start in early 2017, with completion slated for early 2018.
