"Since I can remember, I have been fascinated by architecture. As a child, I would always observe and sketch the environment around me. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be an architect, but towards the end of high school I developed a love for physics and mathematics, and I began to consider engineering. Fortunately, I discovered the Architectural Engineering Major which was a marriage of my two passions, and it pointed me towards Structural Engineering. Following this path has allowed me to see the beauty of buildings in both form and function, and I wish to keep up that way of thinking as my engineering knowledge develops. Building conventions continue to be challenged by more daring architects, and I want to work alongside them and make their visions viable."
