Mario Herrera
BIM Designer
- “I come from a long line of architects and engineers, and so growing up, I spent a lot of time running around construction sites, marking up floor plans with crayons, or playing with Legos in the corner of conference rooms as buildings were being designed, and plans dissected. Witnessing the design and construction process piqued my interest in architecture at a young age. I took technical drafting in high school and briefly studied architecture at the University of Southern California before joining the military. During my time in the military, I visited over ninety countries. I learned about different cultures and experienced global architecture, both ancient and modern. This experience cemented my love of architecture and engineering. After a decade in the military, I returned to my first passion that is architecture and BIM became a natural fit for me as I begin this amazing journey once again.”
