"Before I started High School, my dad and I built a tree house over our creek from an older structure on our property. I loved the problem solving of the design and working with the limitations of building around trees and using materials that had a prior use. At Oklahoma State University, I learned how architecture can have a major impact on the building occupants and how structure can contribute to both building safety and the overall design. I love problem solving with architects so that the result is both a masterpiece of architecture, but also a safe and beautiful structure. "
